I'm back to breeding my heart breed Shelties! Having to stop some years ago because of raising a family I now have time to pursue my dream again. I sure have missed Shelties in my life and am so excited to have a wonderful partner in crime to help me get restarted. I can't thank Debbie Nobblitte at LND Shelties for putting up with me all these years and keeping my dogs living in her bloodlines.
Started in 1989 with the purchase of my very first Shetland Sheepdog aka Sheltie named Misty Morning In London. She inspired my love of shelties and training! I was 13 and purchased her from a local pet shop, trained her for competition obedience and loved her whole heartedly. "Princess" came by her call name from her habit of crossing her front paws whenever she layed down.
1996 was a complete start for my "kennel" ..Living in Germany I subscribed to Sheltie International and Sheltie Pacesetter magazines. One sheltie advertised caught my eye "Am/"Can Champion GoldenHylite's The Phantom, ROM, ROMC". He was my dream Sheltie, and I search and wrote to various breeders back here in the US to find an offspring..well I did and Elizabeth Gray at Sheltie Acres made my dreams of a granddaughter to Phantom come true! Honeybear was born the day i got a letter from Ms Gray and called to talk to her. Honey Bear was/is my heart dog. She passed away art the age of 13 and was my very best friend.
In 97 I contacted a breeder who had "Ch Macdega The Piano Man, ROM" grandpups..Joyce Schrimsher ( Thompson) of Gladjoy Kennels sent me a letter and picture of a bi black little stud pup. I fell in love with my little Blaise and had him shipped to germany as soon as he was able to fly over..I also acquired Gladjoy's MistyMorning Frost from Joyce a few years later.
